Privacy notice
How we handle personal data when you use Croatia Company.
1. Controller

2. What we collect
- Application data: name, email, phone, country of residence, business plans, proposed company details and founder information you provide.
- Client identification data (only after you confirm a quote): identity documents and information on beneficial owners, collected through a secure channel.
- Service and accounting data: documents and records needed to form your company and keep its books.
- Technical data: basic server logs needed to run and secure the website.
3. Why and on what legal basis
- To prepare a quote and perform our contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To meet our legal obligations, including anti-money laundering client identification, accounting and tax record-keeping (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- To secure the website and handle enquiries efficiently (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Who receives your data
Public notaries, the commercial court, the Tax Administration, FINA and other authorities as required for your case; certified translators; and our IT service providers (hosting, email, document storage) under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.
5. Transfers outside the EU
We aim to keep data within the EU/EEA. Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep data
Applications that do not become clients are deleted within Up to 12 months, unless a legal obligation or justified reason requires longer retention. Client data is kept for as long as required by Croatian accounting, tax and anti-money laundering legislation, and then deleted.
7. Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, where the law allows. You can also complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first.
